Past Experience 

Alula has over 15 years of commercial & operations leadership experience in Healthcare, Biotechnology and Medical Devices. Before joining IPA, Alula was in sales leadership within Trane Technologies’ Life Sciences Solutions (LSS) business. Prior to LSS, Alula was at Danaher Corporation where he progressively expanded his leadership footprint across global product management & marketing, services across EMEA, and sales spanning the Americas & EMEA regions. Earlier in his career, Alula worked in business development at General Electric in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and held operations and engineering roles at Abbott Laboratories in the US and Ireland.  

 

Alula holds a BS in Industrial & System Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
 
About Me

Alula grew up between Madison, WI (Go Badgers) and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. He is an avid traveler and self-proclaimed foodie who enjoys spending time with family & friends and is passionate about volunteering in the community.

Lenette Adams-Wallace

Vice President of Engineering &
Product Development

Responsibilities at IPA

As the Vice President of Engineering and Product Development, Lenette oversees the execution and continuous improvement of IPA’s product strategy, new product development, and sustaining engineering efforts. She is responsible for the full development lifecycle through application and platform engineering, design, and quality assurance.

Past Experience

Lenette is experienced in program and product management, supply chain operations, engineering, and resource management, as well as product development and launches, process optimization, and risk management. Lenette's industry experience includes collaborations with companies such as Lenovo, Google, Motorola Mobility, and Southern Company Services. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Alabama and has a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.

About Me

Lenette is an avid traveler — her favorite place to be is by the water. She loves hiking, volunteering, and enjoys reading. Above all, she treasures her time with her husband, two children, and grandson.

Valerie Brown

Vice President of Human Resources

Responsibilities at IPA

As Vice President of Human Resources, Valerie leads the company's human resources function as the architect of its people strategy. She designs and implements initiatives that attract and retain top talent, foster team engagement, and position the workforce as a driver of business success championing programs that align organizational goals with people initiatives while shaping building a culture where employees thrive.

Past Experience

Throughout her career, Valerie has been responsible for developing solid human resources programs in rapidly growing companies. She has held human resources leadership and strategic business partner positions with Portman Holdings, TriMont Real Estate Advisors, Cypress Communications and Charles Schwab. Valerie earned a Bachelor of Science in Public and Urban Affairs with a concentration in Human Resources from Georgia State University. She holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management.

About Me

During her free time, Valerie enjoys bowling and attending live music events. She also loves spa days for relaxation and cherishes spending quality time with family and friends.

Scott Oman

Vice President of Operations

Responsibilities at IPA

As VP of Operations, Scott is responsible for the strategic leadership of the Operations (Production, Quality and Materials Management) Team to help implement lean manufacturing / continuous improvement strategies and drive operational efficiency to meet company goals and objectives.

Past Experience

With over 30 years of progressive levels of experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations both nationally and internationally, Scott has successfully led and directed associates to deliver positive bottom-line results and customer-focused solutions. A Six Sigma Black Belt, he is keenly interested in continuous process improvement and the resulting gains in efficiency and revenue.  He is a results-oriented leader with expertise in transforming disparate personnel perspectives into a more engaged, motivated collaborative culture.

About Me

Scott is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Master’s Degree from the University of Georgia. He enjoys running, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Scott and his wife of 31 years, Kristin, have four children and are residents of Alpharetta, GA.
