IPA Hosts National Company Meeting and Awards Banquet

ATLANTA, April, 2022 – IPA hosted its first company-wide, in-person meeting in over two years with it 2022 National Group Meeting and Awards Banquet, taking place April 19-21, 2022. IPA Team members from across the nation gathered for the 3-day meeting for fellowship, discussion of the previous year's performance, strategy for the future, team-building group breakout sessions, a "Met Gala"-themed Awards Banquet, and a keynote speaker presentation by from keynote speaker, Steve Robbins.

Events during the meeting included group breakout sessions for each department provided insightful, informative, and engaging content for IPA team members. There was also actual user testing featuring IPA products on-site as the IPA Engineering team weaved product functionality feedback into a fun, candy and prize-filled game for the rest of the team. The capper to the meeting was the Awards Banquet, as team members were able to dress up for a glamourous and glitzy night of awards that served to celebrate and honor specific team member's accomplishments and express IPA's mission, vision, and values in a fun, festive way.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Steve Robbins. Steve presents around the world to a variety of audiences. From keynote speeches to workshops, his engagements are an opportunity to teach others about the value of inclusion. His talks are a combination of intriguing stories, laugh-out-loud humor and a scientific understanding of human behavior.

His life experiences and academic background in communication science, social psychology and cognitive neuroscience are the foundation from which he crafts his talks and workshops. That foundation guides his work and allows him multiple perspectives that he brings to bear on issues of inclusion and diversity.

 

The meeting was held at the Le Méridien Atlanta Perimeter hotel.
